Notes from Sheltering Hands, Inc

I’m Kitcat, your black‑and‑white social butterfly with a heart that’s always open for new friends. If you already know me, I’m the first one trotting over to say hello, tail up, ready for pets and conversation. And if you’re a fellow kitty? Oh, I definitely want to meet you. I make it my personal mission to get to know every cat I cross paths with — no exceptions.

My favorite thing in the world is a good back scratch, especially all the way down to my tail. I melt, I wiggle, I lean in like it’s the best moment of my day. But if you really want to see me in action, bring out feathers or a toy on a stick. I’ll chase it until I’m panting, flopped over, and completely worn out… then I’ll get up and chase it again.

Sometimes I get a little too excited and try a playful nibble, but I promise — I know what “NO” means. Say it once and I stop right away, because being gentle and respectful is part of who I am.

I’m warm, friendly, endlessly curious, and always ready to make a new friend. If you’re looking for a kitty who brings joy, energy, and a whole lot of love, I’m your guy.
