Notes from C.A.T.S.-C.A.N., Inc.

Tilly has the face of a cat who has seen things. Things she would rather not discuss. She was originally trapped as a tiny kitten near UCF with her sister, Jilly, and the two shy little girls were eventually adopted together. Unfortunately, Jilly was returned after a couple of months when their adopter felt she wasn’t bonding with her, while Tilly remained behind. Somewhere along the way, Tilly’s own happy ending disappeared too. She was recently trapped again during TNR after people in the area reported seeing her living outside for at least a year. Somehow, the little kitten we once sent off to a home had ended up back on the streets.

Now Tilly is getting another chance, and we would really like this chapter of her life to be considerably less eventful. She is a sweet, shy girl who has been through far more uncertainty than she ever deserved, and sometimes you can almost see it written all over that wonderfully solemn little face. Underneath the worried expression is a gentle cat who needs someone willing to give her the time and security to realize she is finally home for good. Tilly may look like she has survived three wars, a shipwreck, and a very complicated divorce, but what she really survived was losing the safety she once had. This time, we want to make sure she never has to wonder where she belongs again.

Tilly is currently in a loving foster home and have been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, have age appropriate vaccinations, and have been spayed.

Please put in an adoption application on our website, cats-can.org if you are interested or if you have any questions please email us at kittyrescuetnr@gmail.com
