Notes from Foster and Forever Pet Rescue

Cutie Patootie Chyna is looking for her forever family.

This sweet little girl is just over a year old. Her start is unknown to us, but a FF volunteer rescued her from a colony living in Waterbury.

She LOVES other cats and is very comfortable with her foster family’s dog.

She’s tiny and cute and sweet.

She’s gaining confidence with her foster family and happily receives pets and sleeps on us each night.

Chyna was born around March 30, 2026, and is currently being fostered in Prospect. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved.

Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org.

Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.

What happens next

  1. Contact Foster and Forever Pet Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Foster and Forever Pet Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
