Notes from 4 Paws 4 Life Rescue
Leia is a boy in search of a forever home and a new name. He is a bundle of energy with a face full of curiosity. His white and grey swirled coat is as soft as it looks, and no two patches are alike. He loves a good chase and is happiest when someone is on the other end of the feather wand. Leia is ready to be your playmate and snuggle after. This cat was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas and is now safe with 4 Paws 4 Life Rescue. Our cats are cared for in loving foster homes or local adoption centers and are not housed at our Sedalia facility. If you're interested in meeting this cat, please submit an adoption application to begin the adoption process. Once your application is approved, we'll be happy to help arrange a meet and greet.

What happens next
- Contact 4 Paws 4 Life Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
- They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to 4 Paws 4 Life Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
- Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
