Notes from Adams County Animal Shelter

Meet KnightKnight is a shy, gentle soul who needs a little time and patience to show his true sweet personality. Once he feels safe, you’ll start to see the warm, tender cat he really is. Knight would thrive with a family who understands that building trust takes time and is willing to let him open up on his own accord. Because he’s still learning how to feel confident around people, he’ll benefit greatly from having another social, friendly cat in the home to help show him the ropes. Most under-socialized cats, like Knight, aren’t able to provide young children with the level of interaction and playfulness they often seek. He’ll do best in an adult home or one with older children who can provide the calm, patient environment he needs to grow. For Knight’s comfort and safety, he is restricted to homes with children 10 years and older. If you’re looking for a quiet, sensitive companion and have the patience to let a special cat blossom at his own pace, Knight could be the perfect addition to your home.
