Notes from Animal Rescue of the Rockies

My name is Dana, and I am a tabby girl with white paws, and I could have been named One Sock! I also have just the cutest face. Just look at me! I’m a sweet girl. I might start off a little shy, but I am not shy! I love attention! I would love to lie in your lap or nearby or just be near you all the time! I am quick to purr! If you are looking for a lap kitty, look no further! I also love a good wand toy – super fun! I am very fond of my sister, Betty. We are constantly together and would love nothing more than to spend all day in your lap! Betty is a gorgeous medium-hair seal point Siamese. Not only is she gorgeous, she is an absolute doll (like me!)Betty and I are also relaxed kittens. We are not the kind of kittens who are constantly trying to climb out of our room or investigate every possible corner. Yes, we like attention (a lot!), but we’re very content to just be near you! We like to play, hang out together, and nap. I am spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. I’m also great with my litterbox! If you’re looking for a pair of exceptionally sweet kittens, come meet me and Betty. We’re currently in Broomfield. We are about 4.5 months old and were born around the beginning of May, and Dana’s adoption fee is $225. Because Betty is a Siamese, her fee is $350. foster: niwa Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!

$350 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $225 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $225 for kittens (6 months & under) $150 for cats (older than 6 months) $100 for senior cats (8 years or older)

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email cats@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.

What happens next

  1. Contact Animal Rescue of the Rockies using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Animal Rescue of the Rockies, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
