Notes from Animal Rescue of the Rockies

My name is Carlos, and I am a black-and-white tuxedo boy with a very sweet personality. Once I get to know you, I will be asking for attention, but I’m not demanding. I’m also pretty mellow. My siblings and I aren’t constantly looking for ways to get into trouble. We like to play and take naps. I really like my kitten siblings, and you will often find me curled up with one of my siblings when we aren’t playing. I’m definitely a kitten who enjoys having a friend! I would do best being adopted into a house with a resident cat or being adopted with another kitten. I would do well with other cats, dogs, and children with proper introductions. I am neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. I’m also great with my litterbox! If you’re looking for an affectionate, sweet, gentle kitten, come meet me. I’m currently in Broomfield. I am about 4.5 months old and was born around the beginning of May, and my adoption fee is $225. foster: niwa Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!

$350 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $225 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $225 for kittens (6 months & under) $150 for cats (older than 6 months) $100 for senior cats (8 years or older)

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email cats@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.

What happens next

  1. Contact Animal Rescue of the Rockies using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Animal Rescue of the Rockies, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
