Deacon
Domestic Shorthair · Baby (6 months) · Female · Small · Canyon Country, CA
Notes from St. Bonnie's Sanctuary/Lange Foundation
Deacon and her siblings were rescued as young strays in Long Beach and spent the first few weeks of their life in a foster home. Deacon is the shyest of the group and takes a little bit of time to warm up to new people. She can be skittish but is often found cuddling with her brothers for comfort. She likes to be pet and really wants to be a lap cat but has trust issues with new people. She likes to watch from afar to get an idea of a person/cat's vibe before venturing out to explore.
When she gets a Churu treat, she is so happy. They are her absolute favorite thing and she will launch herself at you for some licks. She is so funny at treat time. She is such a special little cat who just needs the right home to let her truly shine.
She would do best in a home with one of her siblings or a more confident young cat/kitten that she can use as a guide to help her feel more comfortable.
