Notes from St. Bonnie's Sanctuary/Lange Foundation

Watermelon is a timid but incredibly sweet girl who was rescued with her siblings. She is still shy, but she has come such a long way since we rescued her in 2023 and she continues to blossom with the help of her feline friends and patient caregivers. As a kitten, Watermelon was diagnosed with FIP, but she’s made a full recovery and is now healthy and thriving. While she’s still cautious around people, she enjoys the company of other cats. She would do best in a home with another young, friendly cat to help her feel safe and confident.

If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application and we can get you scheduled to come in and meet her: https://langefoundation.org/cat-adoption-application/

What happens next

  1. Contact St. Bonnie's Sanctuary/Lange Foundation using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to St. Bonnie's Sanctuary/Lange Foundation, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
