Notes from Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter
Meet Miso, the black and white medium haired boy! Miso came to the Shelter with his two siblings. They were a little small for adoption and a little scared of the world around them. A wonderful foster home took in the trio to help them grow big and strong as well as more confident about the world around them. She reports: `Miso is a fluffy little lover boy who will follow you around and brush up against your legs when he's in the mood for affection. He can be a little shy with new people, but it doesn't take him long to warm up. Once you pick him up, his purr motor gets going, and he loves sleeping near you or curled up next to you. He has the cutest sleeping positions and is always happy to get attention, as long as he isn't distracted by his next toy or his siblings!`Miso is available for pre-adoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery. On Saturday, October 31st, the Shelter is celebrating Halloween through an “Adopt Your Boo” special. This cat’s adoption fee will be waived! Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
