Notes from New Beginnings for Animals

Quinoa is an 11-year-old beautiful gray girl who is very mellow, gentle, calm, and sweet. She is a little shy when meeting new people and usually hides when someone comes to the house. Once she feels comfortable, she slowly comes out and warms up.

She loves being around her people. One of her favorite things is sitting on the sofa with us and watching TV. It doesn’t matter what we are watching—she will happily sit there and keep you company. She also loves sitting beside you or on your lap while you relax.

Quinoa has a very special way of showing affection. If you are stressed or unhappy, she will come over and gently put her paw on you, almost as if she is trying to comfort you. She is also very funny. If everyone leaves the house and only one person is home, she will walk around asking where everyone went in her own little language. She has such a sweet personality once she feels safe. LOCATION: Foster Home but will soon be at the Aliso Viejo Petsmart Visit http://greatpets.org/cat-adoption-application for an online application Quinoa's $175 adoption fee includes her vet exam while in our care, felv/fiv test, fecal, spay surgery, senior bloodwork, microchip, flea treatment, and current vaccinations (age appropriate).

What happens next

  1. Contact New Beginnings for Animals using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to New Beginnings for Animals, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
