Physical Description Mercury is a sweet, fluffy, dark brown tabby boy with a medium length coat. He has warm honey eyes and huge ears, complete with little ear tufts. Mars is the lighter colored brown tabby and has a little orange just on the tip of his snout. Mars has green eyes, a cream-colored belly, and adorable rounded features.

Personality Mercury and Mars are the perfect snuggly, affectionate, and playful kittens! This bonded pair is as sweet as it comes – all they want is to crawl into your lap and purr very loudly in exchange for some chin scratches. Mars is a big personality packed into a tiny body. Mars will absolutely follow you around meowing until you give him attention. Despite being smaller, he also seems to win most of their wrestling matches. Mercury is an absolute lover boy who just wants to be held. He loves chasing toys and playing with Mars, but more than anything, he just wants to grow up into a lap cat and the ideal work-from-home buddy. These two kittens are eating well, have great litterbox manners, and are excited to meet their lifelong best friends!

Apply to adopt here! Online cat application form Applications are also available on the website (www.yolospca.org)

It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application.

The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. For more information about this animal, please email yolospcafoster@gmail.com. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org.

All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have been Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $150 for one kitten or $100 for adults over 1 year (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration). A reduced fee is available for adopting a second cat or kitten

What happens next

  1. Contact Yolo County SPCA using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
