Meet Moira! Moira is a young cat with a shy, gentle personality who needs a patient, cat-savvy adopter willing to let her come out of her shell at her own pace. She may be a little unsure at first, but with time, consistency, and a calm environment, Moira has the potential to become a wonderful companion. One of the quickest ways to win her over? Churu! This sweet girl is happy to accept tasty treats while she learns that people can be trusted. Moira would do best with someone who understands shy cats and is ready to give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. If you’re looking for a special cat who will reward your patience with growing trust and affection, Moira may be your girl! On Saturday, October 31st, the Shelter is celebrating Halloween through an “Adopt Your Boo” special. This cat’s adoption fee is reduced to $31.Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
