Notes from The Dancing Cat

Emeril is a talker! He'll approach you for head scritches several times per day. New situations can make him nervous, so he needs a little time and patience to feel comfortable. He'll purr up a storm when you hold him in your arms.

Once Emeril starts feeling at home, his playful kitten personality begins to shine. He'll keep himself busy with exploring, playing with toys, and even making friends with the resident cat. He’s been chasing house flies and making some truly dramatic leaps in pursuit of his tiny flying foes! Every day brings a new adventure as he builds his confidence and discovers just how much fun the world can be.

Emeril is looking for a patient, understanding adopter who will let him settle in at his own pace and celebrate all his little victories. With time, kindness, and a safe place to call home, this shy boy has so much potential to blossom into a confident, playful companion. Could you be the person to help Emeril spread his wings (and practice those dramatic leaps)?

Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet.

This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adopt
