Notes from Sacramento County Animal Care and Regulation

Jack is a friendly and sweet senior kitty who is ready to find a loving home where he can relax, feel secure, and enjoy plenty of good meals. He is currently a little on the shy and skinny side, but he is looking forward to putting some groceries in him and settling into a comfortable routine with his new family. Jack has a gentle nature and, while he can be reserved at first, he enjoys attention and will happily accept pets and affection, often from the safety of his favorite hiding spot under a chair or tucked beneath a blanket. A patient adopter who allows him to come out of his shell at his own pace will be rewarded with a loving companion. Jack does have a heart murmur that should continue to be monitored by a veterinarian, and he will eventually need a dental procedure to help keep him healthy and comfortable. He is currently sharing the CATFE habitat room with other cats without any issues, showing that he can peacefully coexist with feline friends. This handsome senior gentleman is hoping to spend his golden years surrounded by love, comfort, and plenty of tasty meals.**WALK IN SHELTER TO ADOPT Tuesday Noon-5pm, Wednesday 12-6pm, Thursday-Sunday Noon-5pm (Closed Mondays and Holidays). All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to bring your ID with you too! Watch his video here:or here:https://youtu.be/06Zi-m1XJMo
