Notes from Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter
Meet Milo and Sage the bonded pair of tuxedo cats. Sage is very outgoing often upfront at his kennel seeking attention while Milo is the more reserved and shy of the two. They are great companions to each other often grooming, sleeping and playing together but they would prefer to be the only cats in the home they don't enjoy the company of other cats. They have been a home with dogs but did not interact. In their previous home the young grandchildren would visit, Sage enjoyed interacting with the kids but Milo would prefer to hide while they were around. These cats are indoors only and have used their litter their litterbox reliably 100% Please come meet these beautiful cat they are ready to go home today. Milo & Sage's adoption is sponsored by the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation's Leave No One Behind fund - a fund that draws adopter's eyes towards animals that have been waiting a little bit longer than average for the right adopters to come along and bring them home. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
