Notes from United Hope for Animals

A5799702 Frank

Poor little Frank wasn't quite ready to meet us yet. ❤️

At only seven months old and 6.1 pounds, this little grey boy is finding shelter life pretty overwhelming. When we visited, he stayed tucked inside his litter box — his chosen safe place — so we respected what he was telling us and left him there.

We'll try again another day. No pressure, Frank. ❤️

Some cats show you everything immediately. Others need you to earn their trust. Frank deserves someone willing to give this shy little guy the time he needs.

What happens next

  1. Contact United Hope for Animals using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to United Hope for Animals, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
