Notes from Feline Network of the Central Coast

Born in late May, these bonded Russian Blue mix brothers are ready to bring some serious sweetness into your home. Simon (gray and white) and Garfunkel (gray) are purry, adorable babies who will start out bashful, then will form deep attachments to their humans and blossom into purring, cuddling, slow-blinking love bugs. They are calm and introverted but always ready to receive back rubs and attention.

They love being together, snuggling, playing, and grooming each other. These bros are best friends and must be adopted together. Garfunkel even suckles on Simon’s toe beans and kneads his blanket when you pet them. (Simon doesn’t mind.)

And then there’s my favorite feature: They stretch their long, lanky bodies into full extension and roll belly-up for tummy rubs. I’ve seen dogs do this- totally relaxed- but this is a pretty special feature for kitties.

If you have a calm household and have the time and patience to let them grow into their new home, they will absolutely capture your heart.

Neutered, microchipped, and their adoption includes a voucher for a free veterinary exam.

What happens next

  1. Contact Feline Network of the Central Coast using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Feline Network of the Central Coast, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
