Notes from Ditto's Rescue, Every Animal Matters

Meet Rocky the cutest Russian blue mix boy. His stunning green eyes will melt your heart. He loves to play with his brother Ryland. So if you are looking to adopt a pair of kittens, Rocky & Ryland would love to be adopted together.

Rocky tested negative for FeLV. He tested a faint positive for the antibodies of FIV. It means that the kitten has FIV antibodies, not necessarily the disease itself.

These antibodies are generally maternal antibodies passed from the mother’s milk. A positive FIV test means a kitten can still be adopted, as it's very possible the kitten can be negative when retested at 6 months of age. We will retest him at 6 months old.

If you have a friendly cat or dog at home, Rocky could also become friends easily. He is very playful so he would love a playmate. Rocky & Ryland were named after the movie Project Hail Mary. Rocky had a rough start just like the character in the movie trying to find his way home. Rocky & Ryland were found under a car in a street abandoned by their Mom as babies. Rescued & doing amazing now. He cannot wait to find his forever home. Rocky uses the litter box perfectly. He is cautious when he meets new people, since he was left all alone as a baby. Once he realizes the humans are safe & kind, he warms right up. All our animals come fixed, microchipped, deflead, dewormed, combo tested, healthy & happy. *Rocky is not purebred so if you are looking for a hypoallergenic cat he is not that but rather an amazing rescue kitten. *located in Temecula.
