Notes from Island Cat Resources and Adoption
Say Hello to beautiful Zara!
Zara is a beautiful brown tabby with striking green eyes. With her mountain lion like features, she’s sure to get some attention. If you’re looking for a calm, gentle cat, Zara is your girl. After a rough start living on the streets and raising her litters of kittens, she is ready for the indoor life! Zara has a sweet and soft demeanor and prefers a more quiet and soft approach. When her foster mom asks for her to come in a soft tone, Zara is sure to come and give gentle head butts for pets. Zara has recently discovered the joy of crawling into her foster mom’s lap for cuddles and continues to blossom into a very affectionate cat.
Zara will need a little time to adjust to a new home. She will be shy with new people and hide at first, but given time, encouragement, and love, Zara will blossom and show you how affectionate she is! Zara is very food driven and enjoys treats. She also loves lounging in cardboard scratcher beds or cat houses.
Zara will do best in a calm household with adults only. She will do fine as a solo cat or with a friendly cat companion. Zara is currently fostered with her kitten Toby. She would love to be adopted with him. Zara would not do well with a dog. We estimate Zara was born February 7, 2024. Kitty Bio #1634LC-Za
