Notes from Community Concern for Cats

Meet Hazel! Hazel is around a year old and has a big, outgoing personality. She is incredibly friendly, social, and confident. She’ll happily walk right up to new people to say hello and loves nothing more than curling up in your lap for attention. Hazel is affectionate, but she also knows what she wants! Like many confident cats, she can occasionally get overstimulated and will let you know when she’s ready for a little space. She would do best with someone who understands cat body language and is happy to let her set the pace. Hazel would prefer to be the only cat in the home, where she can soak up all the attention for herself. If you’re looking for a confident, social, affectionate companion who will quickly make herself at home, Hazel may be your girl. ❤️ Please contact the foster directly at StefanieMoore1019@icloud.com 925-588-4107 (text preferred)

What happens next

  1. Contact Community Concern for Cats using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Community Concern for Cats, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
