Notes from Burbank Animal Shelter

Little Suit / Suity Boy / Suitman is a quirky, funny, delightfully squirrely little guy with a big personality hiding behind a somewhat shy exterior. He can be a little nervous, especially when meeting new people, and may need some time to decide that you are a Very Good Human. But once he feels safe and comfortable, his sweet and silly personality really starts to shine. Suity is an absolute goofball when he’s playful. He loves springs, mouse toys, feathers, the ball track, and anything that lets him pounce, chase, or zoom around. He has wonderfully playful, kittenish energy and is very funny to watch. He can also be a cautious little guy. New people and situations can make him nervous, and he may be a little squirrely at first with pets. But there’s a very sweet boy underneath. Once Suity feels safe and trusts you, he leans right into pets and loves the attention. He just needs a little time. Mornings bring out his softest side. Suity often greets us with the loudest little purr—it’s ridiculously cute. Once he knows his people, he has plenty to say and plenty of affection to give. Suity is very food motivated and especially loves Churu treats. He comes running at the sound of a can opening, because priorities are priorities. He does okay with dogs but can be wary at first and needs slow, respectful introductions. Best in a calm home where he can settle at his own pace. Most importantly, he’d benefit from another friendly, confident cat or two to play with, nap beside, and learn from—helping him feel more secure and come out of his shell. Once comfortable, he has a lovely calm side. After playing, he’s happy to curl up somewhere cozy for a long nap. He’s a little quirky, a little silly, a little cautious, and completely adorable. Suity may not march right up to a stranger demanding to be picked up, but earning his trust is special. Give this funny little guy some patience, a cozy spot, a kitty friend, and a Churu or two, and you’ll watch him blossom into the sweet, affectionate companion we know he can be.
