Notes from The Dancing Cat

Lucia is a strikingly gorgeous fluffy panther who loves to play, explore, and show off her fun-loving side. She loves to chase, pounce, zoom, and throw herself into playtime with the enthusiasm only a kitten can muster.

When the day winds down, Lucia is happiest curled up next to her people. She especially loves sleeping in bed with her humans or snuggling up close for cozy cuddle time with her bonded bro Juan Lennon. She enjoys being held and will happily turn on her little purr motor for you.

Lucia is also a dedicated foodie, if you’re looking for someone to compliment the chef, Lucia is your girl.

Lucia and Juan Lennon must be adopted together, which is lucky for you because both will be your playful little buddy and your nighttime cuddle companion.

Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet.

This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adopt

What happens next

  1. Contact The Dancing Cat using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to The Dancing Cat, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
