Notes from Cat Tales Rescue

Trout is the goofy and entertaining. She has the cutest habit of carrying treasures around the house in her mouth— her favorite is a blue sock that she takes everywhere she goes. She has also learned to play fetch and brings back her toys for another toss! She is super smart. Trout although named after a fish, acts very much like a dog and at the end of the day is the sweetest cat!

Trout would ideally love to be adopted with her sister Minnow - but not required. Trout & Minnow are the perfect balance of silly and snuggly. They're wonderful with dogs, get along great with other cats, and would thrive in an indoor home filled with enrichment. They love toys, even if it is just an Amazon box stuffed with crinkly paper.

What happens next

  1. Contact Cat Tales Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Cat Tales Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
