Notes from The Dancing Cat

The Professor is a sweet, gentle soul who is looking for someone willing to give him the time and patience he needs to shine. He has a tender heart and loves affection, but he's still learning that the world is a safe place. He may turn away from an outstretched hand or even give a quick hiss if he's startled, but once he realizes you're a friend, he relaxes accepts gentle pets.

With a patient foster who lets him move at his own pace, The Professor continues to make steady progress. He's the kind of cat who will reward your kindness with companionship and trust.

When he's feeling playful, The Professor enjoys chasing and wrestling with other cats, batting toys under doors, and pouncing on his favorite fabric mice. He gets along well with other cats and would love a feline friend in his new home. At bedtime, you'll often find him curled up in a cozy carrier, on a cat tree, or sleeping at the foot of the bed.

The Professor would do best with an adopter who understands that building trust takes time. If you're looking for the rewarding experience of helping a more reserved cat blossom into a loving companion, The Professor may be the perfect cat for you.

Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.

This cat is currently in a foster home. To meet this cat, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adopt
