Notes from Cat Tales Rescue

Meet Spice Girl ❤️

Spice Girl is an extremely affectionate girl who would happily spend her days soaking up as many pets and cuddles as possible. She is also quite the conversationalist! She loves greeting people who come near her and making sure everyone knows she’s there. After all, Spice Girl believes she should be the center of attention—and honestly, she may be right!

Her ideal home would be with someone who is home frequently and has plenty of time, love, and, most importantly, a lap for her to curl up on while she purrs.

Spice Girl should be the only pet in her home because she has tested positive for feline calicivirus (FCV) . When active, FCV can cause upper respiratory symptoms and gingivitis and may be contagious to unvaccinated or immunocompromised cats and kittens. The virus can remain dormant and may flare up during times of stress or anxiety, so a calm, loving, low-stress home will be especially important for her.

The good news is that Spice Girl does not require ongoing medication . If she develops symptoms, medication may help manage and lessen them.

If you're looking for a loving, talkative, lap-loving companion who wants to be your one and only, Spice Girl may be the perfect match. She has plenty of love to give—and she can't wait to give it all to you! ❤️
