Notes from Act 2 Rescue

Hi, I'm Gemma!

I'm a beautiful black and white kitten with a soft, gentle personality and a heart that just needs a little time to bloom. At first, I can be quite shy, so I may hang back while I figure out my surroundings and feel things out.

Once I start to feel safe, my sweet side begins to show. I especially enjoy being held and cuddled, and I can really melt into your arms when I trust you. I may take a little time to get there, but it’s worth the wait.

I would do best in a calm, patient home with older, respectful kids who understand that I need space to adjust. I also need a home with another friendly cat or kitten to help me feel confident and comfortable as I settle in.

I’m not the kitten who rushes into everything... I’m the one who quietly learns to trust, then loves you deeply for it.

*Note:

A2R kitties are all sterilized, fully vaccinated (if old enough), socialized in private homes not a cattery, they usually receive high end cat food, probiotics, & regular health care. We also provide 30 days of Petcademy free to support transition into your new home as well as having a professional cat behavior coach on staff to support your needs. We take pride in going above and beyond in our customer and kitty service. When you adopt from us you become part of our A2R family and join a community through our social media as well. Be sure to follow us on Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok and You Tube.

What happens next

  1. Contact Act 2 Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Act 2 Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
