Notes from SNAP Cats

Snowcone is sponsored by: Cathy Blackstone

SNAP Cats rescued Snowcone from San Jose, CA. Snowcone is a very sweet kitty. She loves attention and loves her wet food! Snowcone gets along really well with the other kitties, kids, and uses the litter box 100% of the time.

Since Snowcone is FeLV+ she’ll need to be with other FeLV+ cats or be an only cat.

Please Note: Snowcone finished her GS-441524 treatment for FIP in December 2025. Although we can’t guarantee she won’t develop FIP again, her response to the treatment has been extremely positive. She’s shown no signs of FIP at all.

If you’re interested in Snowcone please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thank you.

What happens next

  1. Contact SNAP Cats using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to SNAP Cats, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
