Notes from The TNR Project

Emir means Prince and what a little prince he is! Emir loves to snuggle, be held and sleep with you. You can bribe him with wet food and treats for talkative interactions. He is a Turkish Van and his even keel temperament shows how fabulous this breed is.

Emir follows you around and will never turn down playtime with all the toys that you toss on the floor...ping pong balls, springs, straws, wine corks, crinkle toys..you name it.

Emir loves his sister Asha and we would love to see them go as a pair into a home. We have specials to keep siblings together...just ask in your application!

As listed by The TNR Project. Please confirm anything important with them before you adopt.

Can't adopt right now? The TNR Project is looking for a foster home for Emir. Fostering is short-term, and the rescue usually covers food and vet care. Ask them about it.

What happens next

  1. Contact The TNR Project using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to The TNR Project, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
