Samara's Story

Meet the handsome Samara! He was born in a backyard and he was lucky that the property owners were kind people. He has been a pleasure to have around and is a champion “biscuit maker”! He loves to make biscuits when he’s sleeping, on you, on the floor, his toys…everywhere. He is a super love who wants a human and isn’t afraid to show it.

He gets along really well with other kitties and would be a great addition to a family with a cat or go into a home with one of his siblings. We offer an Adopt a Pair program to keep kitties together for one adoption fee.

Can't adopt right now? The TNR Project is looking for a foster home for Samara. Fostering is short-term, and the rescue usually covers food and vet care. Ask them about it.

What happens next

  1. Contact The TNR Project using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to The TNR Project, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
