Cipher's Story

Meet the playful, loving CIPHER! Cipher was found with her 2 siblings abandoned at night with coyotes around. A great citizen stepped up, brought them in and fostered them while finding a spot for them to go.

She is now a social little girl who is looking to bring a family lots of joy. She is very playful, friendly, outgoing and she does well with kids. Cipher is great on her own and would be just fine on her own or with another even tempered kitty. She really wants someone to love and to love her back. She is such a super sweet girl who loves belly rubs and is quiet for a week or two until she gets used to her new environment. Will you help us share her via social media if you can't take her in? This goofy girl needs her own home and people to love!

As listed by The TNR Project. Please confirm anything important with them before you adopt.

Can't adopt right now? The TNR Project is looking for a foster home for Cipher. Fostering is short-term, and the rescue usually covers food and vet care. Ask them about it.

What happens next

  1. Contact The TNR Project using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to The TNR Project, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
