Chatty's Story

Meet Chatty Catty! This young handsome devil walked into a colony in Los Angeles one afternoon and it was determined he was abandoned at some point. He was extremely thin and hungry. He was scooped up and scanned for a microchip (which he didn't have) and he was promptly fostered and fed.

Chatty is aptly named due to his vocal-ability and his conversations. Chatty loves to be with people and will follow you around wherever you go. He loves to ride on your shoulder and is not beyond hopping on your back. Be prepared for him to make impromptu appearances at work during your Zoom meetings and to act like he is meant to be there.

Chatty would like to be the only cat and gets too stressed out with fosters or multiple cats around. He really only wants a human...period.

This cat is amazing, and we are absolutely thrilled to be able to have him posted for adoption for a wonderful home.

Chatty is:

* Born: September 2022 (approx) * Neutered * Vaccinated * Combo Tested: Negative FELV/FIV * Microchipped * Flea Treated * Dewormed * Litter Box Trained: Unscented Natural Litter * Scratch Post Trained: Rope Sisal or Tall Cat Tree (He Likes to Be Up High!)

Can't adopt right now? The TNR Project is looking for a foster home for Chatty. Fostering is short-term, and the rescue usually covers food and vet care. Ask them about it.

What happens next

  1. Contact The TNR Project using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to The TNR Project, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
