Kitri

Kitri is a young black cat with a big personality, a bigger prey drive, and the kind of charisma that fills a room the moment you walk in. She's playful, intelligent, and deeply entertaining — a little panther with a lot of opinions about how playtime should go.

Kitri lives for the hunt. The moment you step into her room, she lights up — tail high, eyes bright, ready to go. This is her golden window: she'll let you scoop her up, soak in some kisses, and for just a moment, she's your cuddly baby. Then the toys come out, and it's game on.

She's a fetch girl. Throw a feathery toy and watch her bolt after it — only to trot it right back to your lap like a tiny, purring retriever. She'll drop it, look at you, and dare you to throw it again. She loves a good mystery too — nothing sends her into full detective mode like a toy that vanishes under a blanket or disappears behind the couch. She will find it.

Kitri purrs through the whole adventure. The chasing, the pouncing, the solving — all of it, accompanied by her little motor running at full speed.

She's also a thinker. When she's winding down, she's perfectly happy to sit in front of her cat TV, especially if there are birds or foxes on screen. She watches with the focused intensity of someone studying for an exam.

When you leave her alone, Kitri keeps herself busy. Don't be surprised if the toys are a little... rearranged when you return. She plays independently and enthusiastically, and she makes no apologies for the redecorating.

Kitri would thrive with someone who loves an interactive, engaged cat — a person who gets genuine joy from a spirited game of fetch and who understands that love, for Kitri, is expressed through play.

Kitri has progressive FeLV (feline leukemia virus). While her lifespan may be shortened by this virus, right now she is living. Fast, funny, and full of fire — Kitri is one of a kind.

Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.
