Notes from Ohlone Humane Society

SPONSORED ADOPTION FEE: Marco and Polo are our explorers! The brothers are a delightful bonded sibling duo who are looking for a forever home together. These two share a deep connection and truly thrive as a pair — playing, exploring, and snuggling side by side every day; they are both shy; Polo more than Marco. They will do best with an experienced cat owner or someone with patience willing to learn - we will coach and support. Someone who works from home or is retired for this important mission.

Marco is a stunning Flame Point Siamese with blue eyes, a curious mind, and a playful spirit. He loves climbing, exploring new spaces, and chasing toys, but his favorite activity of all is romping around with his brother. After a busy play session, Marco happily switches gears and settles in for cozy cuddle time, showing off his sweet and affectionate nature.

Polo is a handsome orange swirl kitten with a sharp, inquisitive mind. Once comfy with you, he’s always on the move, investigating every corner, batting around toys, and showing off his athletic side. Like his brother, Polo also has a gentle, loving side and enjoys curling up for quiet moments once the fun winds down.

Together, Marco and Polo are the perfect balance of energy and affection. They keep each other entertained, confident, and happy, and they will bring endless joy, laughter, and love into their future home. Marco and Polo are offered to adopt as a pair; they truly flourish in each other’s company. If you are an experienced cat adopter, please fill out an app and come meet them. It may take some time, but it will be so rewarding to earn their trust.

Please see our website at https://ohlonehumanesociety.org/fostering-and-adoption/ and click on the ADOPTION APPLICATION button to submit your application and we will let you know as soon as our Kitten Foster Program Manager reviews the applications received. All of our kittens must be spayed or neutered in our care before adoption can be finalized. We are looking forward to your application!

  1. Contact Ohlone Humane Society using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Ohlone Humane Society, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
