Notes from The Dancing Cat
Viggo isn’t just a pretty face though with that fluffy tail and handsome looks, he definitely turns heads. Curious, playful, and full of energy, Viggo loves wand toys, tunnels, and any game where he can leap out from hiding or chase after something that “disappears.” He’s smart too, and his foster has started working on training with him. Viggo would do best in a home with another confident, playful pet, preferably a dog. He enjoys playing with his foster's dog, and having a companion helps him burn off energy and regulate his excitement.
He’s a cat with a big personality which includes a habit of communicating with his teeth. Viggo has been known to bite hard, as there's no sugar-coating this behavior, only experienced adopters will be considered (a home with children would not be ideal). He has visible cues and once he is understood this behavior is avoidable, his foster reports many weeks with no incident once they got to know his boundaries.
Viggo is the kind of cat who likes to be where you are, usually hanging out on his cat tree or even the kitchen table nearby to supervise. He enjoys attention on his own terms and he’s not a big snuggler and still gets a little mouthy when he’s excited (hands and feet included).
If you’re looking for a gorgeous, fun, and spirited companion who will keep you entertained, Viggo might be your guy!
Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.
This cat is currently in a foster home. To meet the cat, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. Our adoption application is on our website here: www.thedancingcat.org/adopt
