It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.

The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.

EUROPA and her kittens (ATALANA - CIRCE - DESPONIA - ZEPHYR) were saved in San Jacinto, California. The wonderful couple saved them from the very cruel neighbors. So they called us. They are currently fostering them. And we are so glad they did.

Meet DESPONIA, a delightful Tuxedo cat from San Jacinto, California, whose independent spirit and adorable quirks make her a true character. With her striking black-and-white coat and those big, golden eyes, she's a master at capturing attention and making you feel like you need to give her some love (though shes not shy about letting you know when she's had enough)! DESPONIA is definitely the "do her own thing" type. She's content to sit by your feet, gazing up with those wide eyes, silently asking for affection. But once you've showered her with pets, shell give a gentle paw or turn away when she's had enough—she is got her boundaries, and she knows how to communicate them!

One of her favorite things? Snack-filled treats! DESPONIA will happily indulge in anything with a filling, and her playful zoomies are a sight to behold. She is quick to dash around, especially when her sisters are winding down for the evening—her burst of energy will keep you smiling as she races through the room, full of joy and excitement.

DESPONIA is a confident and loving companion, always ready for a cozy nap once her energy has been spent. She's compatible with other cats, having grown up in a multi-cat environment, and would love to join a family that appreciates her independent yet loving nature. A bit of patience will go a long way with this little one, as she enjoys having her space but is equally affectionate when the time feels right.

DESPONIA is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TUXEDO MIX. She is about 2 year 4 months old. She has lived with cats. She used to play with a Aussie Shepard dog. She has never been around children.

Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home

DESPONIA is currently at our rescue in Hemet, California.

The cats/kittens at a foster/rescue home, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET and GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below:

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet and greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.

Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.

We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient. .

DESPONIA is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $200 covers:

Spay FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
