Notes from Act 2 Rescue

Meet Dixie, she started her life feral but is getting used to being an inside cat. She gets along with other cats but is skittish around people so needs someone patient. She has lived in the cattery for over a year and really would do well in her own home. She loves the other kitties and will rub on our legs and we can occasionally pet her tail before she scurries off but she comes back for more leg rubs. She is a good mouser and would does well inside. She doesn't bother anyone and is very sweet and pretty. She is ready for a forever home!

What happens next

  1. Contact Act 2 Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Act 2 Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
