! A Little Girl Looking for the Place She Belongs!

Some kittens come into our lives with a story. Denver came with a song.

This beautiful orange tabby girl is extra special! Not only is she a sweetheart, but she’s also a female orange tabby, which is much less common than her male counterparts.

Denver’s story began on a freeway overpass, where she was found all alone, wet, cold, shivering, and completely frozen with fear. She was just a tiny girl in a very big, scary world.

As we drove away with her safely in the car, John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads” came on the radio. The words “Take me home, to the place I belong” couldn’t have been more perfect. It felt as though this little girl was telling us exactly what she wanted. A home. A family. A place where she could finally feel safe and loved.

And that’s how Denver got her name.

Today, Denver is safe, warm, and discovering just how wonderful life can be when you’re loved.

Denver is a gentle, laid-back little girl who would much rather snuggle than cause kitten chaos. She enjoys playing, but her favorite activity is being as close to her humans as physically possible. She’ll curl up against you, snuggle into your side, and happily drift off to sleep knowing she’s safe.

And Denver has her own adorable way of saying “I love you.” While you’re petting her, she’ll sometimes give your hand the sweetest little love nibbles. It’s just one of the many ways this affectionate girl melts hearts.

Denver does well with large dogs and other cats. She also tolerates toddlers, although her calmer personality may be especially appreciated in a home where she can enjoy plenty of peaceful cuddle time.

Denver isn’t asking for much. She doesn’t need constant entertainment or endless adventures. She just wants a warm place to sleep, gentle hands to love her, and someone who will let her curl up close.

She has already experienced what it’s like to be cold, frightened, and alone. Now it’s time for her to experience what it means to truly belong.

We’ve kept our promise to keep her safe. Now we’re hoping someone will give her the forever home she’s been waiting for.

Could you be the place where Denver belongs? She is up to date on vaccines including rabies, tested negative for FELV/FIV, dewormed, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $240.
