Notes from Back The Blue Pet Rescue

Meet Lyric & Peanut!

Some things are just better together—and Lyric and Peanut are proof! ❤️

Lyric (F) and Peanut (M) are 1.5-year-old brother and sister who are both looking for their forever homes. These two have grown up together and would love to find a home together, but we understand that isn't always possible. They are available to be adopted separately as well.

Having a built-in sibling best friend is pretty special, so if you're looking for two furry family members, Lyric and Peanut would make an adorable pair! But most importantly, we want each of them to find a loving forever home where they can be spoiled and cherished.

Lyric – Female, 1.5 years old Peanut – Male, 1.5 years old Brother & sister Would love to be adopted together, but can go separately ❤️ Ready for their forever families

Double the cats, double the love—or twice the chance for one lucky family to add a new best friend! ❤️

They are both fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and FIV/FeLV negative. Their adoption fee is $125 each or $225 together. Please fill out an application to set up a meet and greet, followed by a home check.

What happens next

  1. Contact Back The Blue Pet Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Back The Blue Pet Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
