Notes from Forest Felines

Meet Leo!

Leo is an eight-year-old, longhaired Maine Coon mix with 25 pounds of love to give! This sweet boy is a purring machine who firmly believes he’s the perfect size for a lap. Stretch out on the bed to watch TV, and Leo may settle right onto your chest to keep you company.

Leo’s story began in 2018, when his mother was rescued from an area with many cats. She was scheduled to be spayed the following day, but that morning she surprised her caregiver by giving birth. Leo was one of those kittens, and he has been loved and cared for indoors ever since.

This playful boy especially adores his Catit Senses ball-track toy. Arrange it in a circle, and he’ll happily entertain himself day and night! Toy mice and kicker toys are also favorites.

Leo gets along well with other cats and would also be happy as the only cat, soaking up his family’s affection. His long coat needs frequent brushing or regular clipping to keep it comfortable and manageable. He currently eats Science Diet Sensitive Stomach & Skin dry food and Fancy Feast pâté.

With his loving nature, playful spirit, and contented purrs, Leo is ready to bring plenty of joy—and a very full lap—to his forever home.
