Notes from Stone County Humane Society Inc.

Coal is used to being in a quiet space and is a little freaked out with all of the sounds of the shelter. He will run from you at first but he likes pets so he always comes back if you move slow and talk sweet to him. He prefers for people to get down and hold their hand out to him for inspection before he will allow pets, just to make sure it is safe. He came to us with a friend and possible sibling Miss Kitty. They are VERY close and it would be wonderful if they could be adopted together, but it is not required. Coal is very sweet and will make a wonderful kitty for a calm, more quiet home.
