Meet Jackson!

Jackson is a handsome 7-week-old black kitten who got a lucky break when he and his siblings wandered into a humane trap baited with chicken breast. The trio came from a colony that is fed every morning behind a shopping center, where life can be challenging for young kittens. Their savvy mother has managed to avoid every trapping attempt, but fortunately her babies are now safe and thriving.

This healthy little guy has a sweet temperament and is taming quickly. Every day Jackson becomes more relaxed with people and more interested in attention, playtime, and all the comforts that come with indoor living. He is curious, affectionate, and ready to discover just how wonderful family life can be.

Jackson is searching for a loving home that will continue helping him grow into the confident, happy cat he's meant to be. His sweet personality and striking black coat make him a very special kitten.

Could Jackson be the newest member of your family? Please remember: Unless otherwise specified, all our kittens and cats are strictly indoor pets.

If you’re interested in adoption, please visit straylovefoundation.org and complete an adoption application.

Every rescue in our care receives comprehensive vetting, which includes:

A combo test Deworming Spay/neuter procedures Vaccinations Microchipping

We take every possible step to ensure their health and happiness, giving them the best chance at a long, fulfilling life.

While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don’t have their family history). Additionally, medical tests—though highly reliable—can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high.

Additional adoption details:

Transportation fees, if applicable, vary based on distance and expenses. Home checks may be conducted. Our standard tax-deductible adoption donation is $198. For special breeds, uniquely colored, or exceptionally adorable rescues, we may request a higher donation to help cover vet expenses.

Can't adopt? Consider donating, sponsoring, or volunteering! Every form of support makes a difference.
