Meet Journey!

Journey is a sweet 7-week-old black kitten whose journey to safety began behind a shopping center where a colony of cats is fed each morning. Along with her sister Jada and brother Jackson, she couldn't resist the lure of a chicken breast placed in a humane trap. While their elusive mother remains untrapped, her babies are now safe, healthy, and getting the chance to experience life as cherished family pets.

Journey is a loving little girl who is taming very quickly. She is learning that people bring good things like food, toys, soft blankets, and gentle affection. As her confidence grows, her sweet personality shines brighter each day.

Healthy, adorable, and full of potential, Journey is ready to find a family that will give her the patience and love she needs to continue blossoming. With her sleek black coat and gentle nature, she's sure to make a wonderful companion.

Journey is ready to start the next chapter of her story. Could that chapter be with you? Please remember: Unless otherwise specified, all our kittens and cats are strictly indoor pets.

If you’re interested in adoption, please visit straylovefoundation.org and complete an adoption application.

Every rescue in our care receives comprehensive vetting, which includes:

A combo test Deworming Spay/neuter procedures Vaccinations Microchipping

We take every possible step to ensure their health and happiness, giving them the best chance at a long, fulfilling life.

While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don’t have their family history). Additionally, medical tests—though highly reliable—can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high.

Additional adoption details:

Transportation fees, if applicable, vary based on distance and expenses. Home checks may be conducted. Our standard tax-deductible adoption donation is $198. For special breeds, uniquely colored, or exceptionally adorable rescues, we may request a higher donation to help cover vet expenses.

Can't adopt? Consider donating, sponsoring, or volunteering! Every form of support makes a difference.

Tax-deductible donations can be made via PayPal using info@straylovefoundation.org, or by clicking the donate button on our:
