Notes from City of Talladega Animal Control

BREAKING NEWS: SONJA, 1½ YEARS OLD, OFFICIALLY RETIRES FROM MOTHERHOOD AND IS NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR HER FOREVER HOME!

Hello, humans! I'm Sonja, a 1½-year-old mama cat, and I'd like to announce that I've officially clocked out of the motherhood business.

I arrived at Talladega Animal Control with a whole litter of kittens. I raised my tiny freeloaders, did my motherly duties, and watched them grow up and start finding families of their own. I'm happy for them, truly. But have you ever tried to get a bunch of kids to listen to you? I think I've earned a permanent vacation.

My kittens are finding homes, I've been spayed, and I'm current on my vaccines. Translation: NO MORE KITTENS! My baby-making days are officially behind me, and I'm ready to focus on something much more important: ME!

I'm looking for a loving forever home where I can enjoy being someone's beloved companion instead of the manager of a tiny, furry daycare. I think I've earned the right to be spoiled a little. Or a lot. I'm not interested in negotiating that part.

My adoption fee is sponsored and reduced to just $75, and I'm ready to go home TODAY!

If you're looking to adopt a cat in the Talladega area and think this retired mama deserves her own happy ending, call Talladega Animal Control at 256-362-5856 to schedule an appointment to meet me.

Please share to help this sweet mama cat find the loving forever home she's been waiting for!

Sonja's new life motto: The kids are moving out, and I'm reclaiming the couch!
