Notes from Burge Bird Rescue
Hi - my name is Lucy and I am a 30 year old Senegal parrot. I was very tame at one time but need someone to spend time with me again. I will step up and I can talk a little bit.
What happens next
- Contact Burge Bird Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
- They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Burge Bird Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
- Read the birds care guide so you arrive prepared.
