Penn
Quaker Parakeet · Adult · Medium · Hinckley, IL
Notes from Kat & Kritters Foundation
William Penn (Penn for short, or Penny) is named after the famous Quaker, you know...because he is a Quaker/Monk Parrot. We do not now his age as he was found on the streets and brought to animal control. He was checked out by their vet and got a clean bill of health, outside of needing to put some weight on. Initially he would only fly and land on his foster homes heads but he is starting to step up onto finger now and will sit on shoulders and he loves to help groom (preen) his foster parents. He really enjoys his baths and loves to snack on whatever his people are eating. He is good with kids and is in a home with dogs as well and does fine. He seems to be aggressive or too much for birds his size or smaller, we are unsure how he would do with larger birds.
His adoption fee is $300
