Notes from Palomacy Pigeon & Dove Adoptions
Meet Waffles — a little fighter who finally found safety. Waffles was found last week in Rancho Cordova, walking along the street, extremely skinny and struggling to survive. After getting her safely rescued and cleaning her up, we discovered something heartbreaking — a hugewound on her chest that had been hidden underneath her feathers. We can only imagine how long she had been hurting and trying to survive on her own. But Waffles is a fighter. She is now safe, getting the care she needs, eating, resting, and beginning her journey toward healing. She doesn’t have to walk the streets alone anymore. We may never know exactly what happened to her, but we know one thing: Waffles deserved a chance. And now she has one. Welcome to safety, sweet Waffles. Your healing journey starts here.
