Notes from Palomacy Pigeon & Dove Adoptions

Curlie came to us from the San Jose Animal Care Center on 10/04/26 and we are just getting to know her. Curlie was seen by rescuer being attacked by a hawk. She has a minor injury to her back and is recuperating. She’s in rough shape physically but a good weight. Curlie is content in her outdoor foster aviary - much happier than when she was housed inside. She still has a little healing to do but is easy to catch in order to care for her wound. She can fly and seems quite spry. Her feathers are in pretty bad shape which makes her look older; our best guess is she's 5+ years old.
